Training & Coaching
One option when looking to improve your success rates in bidding for work from the public and private sectors, is to up-skill your current team through training and coaching.
However, we understand that Rome wasn't built in a day…
and you can't teach someone an entirely new approach to a familiar task in just one session. That's why:
a) Its our process. The tools we teach in the training course are deliberately simple, yet effective and are those we use ourselves on every bid we write.
b) We back it up. As part of the training package we offer a reduced price evaluation of your next 3 tenders. This review and feedback loop can be invaluable in reinforcing some of the techniques from the training.
c) The course is not 'academic'. We can offer you a practical and exercise-focused session, allowing you to test the theories we teach.
We also understand that for some individuals, its the one-to-one coaching and practical examples that can be most transformative, so we also offer face-to-face coaching.
We have two trainers within Apex, both of whom have 5+ years of hands-on experience writing, managing, evaluating and winning bids. If you'd like to speak directly with one of these experts about your organisation, your team and your potential training or coaching needs, or if you'd just like a more detailed overview of how we approach training, please contact us.
How much does it cost?
Our standard course 'Writing Winning Tenders' is designed to work best in groups of up to 8 individuals. At a standard price of £1,440 this means a price per person per training day of just £180. Cheaper – and we believe more effective – than a public course.
If you'd like to discuss the standard syllabus with the trainer or find out about putting together a bespoke course for your team, please give us a call on 01572 868 500 or contact us, and we'll get back to you within a maximum of 24 hours.
If you call this number 01572 868 500 you will be put through one of our Bid Team. That means no sales people over-promising to get you through the door, the person you speak to about your tender today will be accountable throughout any engagement.
